This Privacy Policy describes how La Canada Ventures, Inc. (“MD HAIR™”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit, interact with, or purchase from www.mdhair.com (the “Site”).

  • Order & account information: name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, payment information (processed securely by Shopify Payments and other PCI-compliant processors), order history.

  • Communications: emails, support requests, customer service correspondence, product reviews you choose to submit.
  • AI chat assistant conversations: messages you type into the AI shopping assistant on the Site, and any email address you choose to provide in chat (for example, to receive a product routine by email).
  • Marketing preferences: email and SMS opt-in status, marketing list memberships.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Fulfill orders, process payments, ship products, and provide customer service.
  • Communicate about orders, shipments, returns, and account matters.

  • Advertising partners, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and TikTok, to deliver relevant advertising and measure ad performance. You can opt out of personalized advertising via your account settings on those platforms.
  • Legal authorities, when required by subpoena, court order, or applicable law, or to protect the safety of MD HAIR™, our customers, or the public.
  • Business successors, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to customary confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some Site features. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

5. AI Shopping Assistant

Our Site offers an AI-powered shopping assistant (“chat”). Messages you send in chat are processed by the service providers named above to answer your questions. Conversations are logged for quality, safety, and record-keeping: routine chat logs are retained for up to 30 days, and records of conversations relevant to fraud prevention or the protection of our legal rights (for example, reports of look-alike products or sellers) may be retained longer as business records. If you provide your email address in chat, we use it as described in this Policy and, where you consent, for marketing. The assistant is automated and may make mistakes; it does not provide medical advice. Please do not share sensitive personal or health information in chat beyond what is needed for your question.

6. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: request that we correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion: request that we delete personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Opt out of marketing: unsubscribe from emails via the link in any email, or reply STOP to SMS messages.
  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA): right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. Submit requests via the contact information below or our cookie preference center.
  • EEA/UK residents (GDPR): right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port your data, and object to processing. Lawful bases for processing include contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent.
